Please read sections 1 and 2 of chapter 21 for class tomorrow. Here is a link to the pdf version of the Chapter 21 Reading.

Thursday will be a review day, and the exam on chapters 7-9 will be administered during class on Friday. The topics covered by the exam are periodic trends, lewis structures, resonance structures, electron configuration of ions, bond polarity (dipole), exceptions to the octet rule, molecular geometry, molecular polarity (dipole), hybrid orbitals, molecular orbitals, and energy of bond formation.
